30 Days of Gratitude: Day 7 & 8

Today I'm grateful for:

• my bed
• my blanky
• a roof over our heads
• a heater that helps warm up our apartment
• warm showers

I threw a few in their because i forgot to post my gratitude yesterday :/

I'm so grateful for those little, yet big things in life. At times they might be overlooked but i pray that i would always remember to be thankful for them.

30 Days of Gratitude: Day 6

Today I'm thankful for cold mornings! Oh how i love the cold! I love waking up and opening up the front door and being amazed at God's creation and how his mercies are new every morning!!!

Thank you sweet Jesus for all that you've created.

30 Days Of Gratitude: Day 5

Today I'm grateful for being a stay at home mommy! It's such a blessing to be able to be with my babies every day! And even though at times i get stressed, frustrated and irritated, it's all so worth it!

When i see their smiles, when i hear their giggles, when i see them learning new things and when i see many other things, God reminds me of how blessed i am and i'm so so thankful. Thankful to him for giving me the privilege of being a mommy and thankful to my husband for supporting me in what i do while i'm at home with them :)

30 Days of Gratitude: Day 4

Today i'm grateful for my baby girl, Lexy Lou! If any of you read my 7 Random things you'll know that she wasn't planned. I wasn't expecting to have another baby so soon. BUT GOD...had other plans. Now that i have her i wouldn't go back! Her smile lights up my day!!!

Even at 7 months she's such a strong willed little baby! She has such a temper and she's a little drama queen. Even if her brother rubs her in any shape or form and if she's not in the mood, she'll let out a scream! My husband says she has my temper...i would have to agree i tell him, except for the drama queen part..hehe :)

I love it when i hear her in the mornings talking to herself in the crib just waiting for us to go get her, she's a great eater, she cries when her food is gone because she wants more, she loves her mum mum crackers, i love the way she tries to follow her brother. I can tell their going to be best friends! It brings so much JOY into my heart to see them together! She's our little princess and i thank God for giving her to us! It's a privilege to raise her up in HIS ways :)

I can't wait for those days to come when we can go shopping, get pedicures and have fun together!

30 Days Of Gratitude: Day 2

Hello and hope your all having a wonderful day!

Today I'm grateful for my best friend: my husband. I love him so dearly. He never ceases to amaze me with the things that he does to show me he loves me.

Flowers at least once every two weeks, breakfast in bed, surprise date nights, still opens the car door for me whenever we go somewhere, brings dinner home sometimes to give me a break from the kitchen, supporting me with what I'm passionate about: crafting, buying me jewelry whenever he goes on any missions trip, he listens to me, he does laundry for me on the weekends and folds them, he washes dishes for me on Tuesdays when i have Woman's Bible Study, He makes the bed for me, encourages me, prays with me, reads to me, sings to me, rebukes me when i need it...the list can go on and on, lol!

He is such a gift! I never get too tired of thanking God for allowing us to wait on each other and for HIS perfect timing in our relationship. I know many of you don't know our love story but to make the long story short, when we were courting we vowed not to kiss until our wedding day! It was tough, I'm not going to lie. But 5 months later the day finally had come and oh was it worth it! That FIRST KISS was even sweeter for us and it meant so much more!

We have a wonderful relationship. Of course our marriage isn't perfect but we have the Lord, and with HIM all things are possible. We just make sure HE is in the center of our marriage, and when thats the case everything just falls into place. He is the glue that holds us together through thick and thin!

God is good. I can't put into words how grateful i am for having him in my life!

30 Days Of Gratitude: Day 1

Okay so i wanted to join in the fun along with Kristina from "One Happy Mama" with her 30 Days of Gratitude.

Just stop and ponder and think of all the things that you are thankful for! This is a great month to do that! And not just this month of course but everyday of the year!!! God is good and worthy of all our praise! Lets have an attitude of gratitude and thank HIM for all that He has given us! Every little thing...God is a God of detail and He cares about the smallest things in our lives.

Wow what a great GOD we serve!

Today's Gratitudes: I'm thankful that i have Jesus in my heart. Thankful for my husband and for how much he loves me & I'm thankful for the children God has blessed us with! Their smiles lift me up on any rainy day :)
