DIY Ribbon Organizer

Hello! Today i wanted to share a quick and easy way to organize your ribbon that's just laying around driving you crazy :/ Well at least i know it drives me crazy! Especially when i want to make a bow or headband and it takes me twice as long to find the certain color or pattern that I'm looking for.

I bought some clothes pins at Michael's, wrapped the ribbon around it and put it inside a glass jar where i already had the ribbon in. I liked the way it turned out! I also added a little embellishment to it but that's optional :)

Now when ever i make my baby girl a bow or something i can see through the glass jar and know exactly what color i need :) Here are a few pictures!

Vase Makeover

Hello hope your having a good day! So Today i went to the Farmers Market with my kiddos again! I bought some pretty flowers. I want my house to look nice when my hubby gets home Tuesday so i thought flowers would cheer up the ambience :) The vase looked a little plain so i though i would add something to it! You know me :)

I remembered i had saved a picture on my phone of a cute vase that i liked from Better Homes & Gardens. It had sea shells, and since i love anything that comes from the ocean (well almost anything ;) i thought it would be perfect! Here's a before and after picture!

Lamp Makeover

Hey, hope your week is blessed! So i wanted to share a before and after picture of my living room lamp. I had been wanting to do a little makeover on this beige lamp of mine but wasn't feeling inspired. After looking at a few pictures online, i came up with my own design :) Its really simple. I love my beige looking lamp so i new i didn't want to change it as much as just add something to it. So here it is. Hope you get inspired on remaking something around your home :)

Glass Jars

So i wanted to share this really cute idea! You know how sometimes we buy stuff at the store that come in glass jars? Then once there empty they end up in the trash!?! Well, we no longer have to throw them away! You can wash them with hot soapy water, let them air dry and fill them up with stuff that's lying around in your cupboard. I go to Henry's and buy stuff from the bulk a lot! Whether it's oatmeal, dried fruit, brown rice...you name it! So instead of keeping it in the baggy, i pour it in the glass jars! Now...if you see the crafty side of it, you can recycle them and use them as vases. Vases? Yep :) Sounds weird, i know but it actually looks really cute! You just gotta use your imagination, decorate them, fill them up with water and put some pretty flowers in there! Here are some pics :0) God bless your week!!!
